Grandma aka Sadie
Grandma, aka Sadie came to the shelter with her brother, Bandit, aka Grandpa when they were both in their teens. They always looked out for each other and slept together every night. When Grandpa passed away Grandma was very sad. Her health was bad and she seemed to have lost her interest in living without her dear brother. But she hung in there for all of us who loved her. When it was time to let her go we were all extremely sad and the shelter now seems a lot emptier with out them both. But we know they are together over Rainbow Bridge and playing happily together. We love you Grandma and will miss you terribly. God bless you.
Grandpa aka Bandit
Grandpa, aka Bandit, was one of the shelter's best known cats. He and Grandma have been two of most visited cats at our shelter. Everyone wanted to meet the cat with the "different" meow when he wanted food or to be let out of his room to roam the halls. He looks got him alot of attention too. He and Grandma were the 2009 Sweethearts of Year winners. And they were sweethearts. Grandma misses him terribly as do all of us at ICS. We take peace in knowing he is now over Rainbow Bridge enjoying the sunny weather, playing in the breezes and romping with the other kitties there. We love you Grandpa. You took a piece of our hearts when we lost you. May God Bless You!
Sylvester
Sylvester was a sweet loving boy that wanted nothing more than to be held and cuddled. He had a heart as big as all outdoors and seemed to love everyone. While he was only at our shelter a short time, he won many hearts. When he was diagnosed with feline leukemia we all prayed he would fight it off and live a long healthy life. This was not to be. We lost Sylvester on July 30, 2009 while in the loving care of his foster mom, Susan. We thank her for all the love and care she gave him during his short time with her. Sylvester, we know you are in a better place now and are playing and happy and no longer suffering. We love you and will miss you always. You took a piece of our hearts when we lost you. GOD BLESS YOU SYLVESTER!
Rose
She was sweet and mellow!
