Don't let the sad-looking puss fool you! Handsome Franklin is a happy, relaxed cat, just looking for someone to share his boundless love! (He thinks that looking sad might get him a home faster!)

Franklin got off to a rough start -- we found him lying in the median of a busy expressway early one Saturday morning, in shock after being hit by a car.

Luckily, he suffered only a dislocated hip from the accident, which has healed. He'll always walk with a slight limp, but is not in any pain. He even enjoys chasing balls down the hallway!

Franklin is the kind of cat who seems to understand every word you say, because he looks you in the eyes when you talk to him. You almost expect him to answer back!

Franklin would be happiest as the only male in a one or two-cat household. He has a tendency to form urinary crystals, so is on a special diet.

Franklin enjoys being held and carried, petted and brushed. He'll even let you clip his claws, which is unusual for a cat. You won't find a more loveable boy anywhere!
